Rebecca Taylor

Rebecca Taylor grew up in the Latrobe Valley, Victoria, Australia and studied Politics and History at Monash University. After a career working for politicians in Federal Politics, Rebecca re-studied to become a Secondary School History Teacher and now resides in Pakenham, Victoria with her husband Jason and their four children.
Rebecca has always loved history and especially enjoys teaching it in the classroom. Her particular passion is local Australian History and she would love to share more of her local stories with the rest of the world.
“I believe that our history is of course unique and although we are a young country in global terms we have a past that is rich and engaging. It should be shared with everyone!”
For Rebecca, writing and researching has been a long term professional goal so she hopes that you find her future titles as fun to read as they were to research and write.
Rebecca is currently working on a cookbook for the U.S market and a new series of fiction books based on an idea that her 9 year old son had. Her next title in the Their Story series will be coming soon!
