Rosalind Hartmann

A 40 something, mother of the Kraken and the Drama Queen, Roz spends her time adoring her Air Force high school sweetheart. The Blood Memory series was originally created on, a role-playing website for vampires and werewolves. Not your conventional, young adult supernatural fiction, created an amazing world based on an eastern seaboard metropolis ruled by vampires. Enter the werewolves, recently migrated into the United States and faced with coexisting with their ancient adversaries.

The Blood Memory is passed from the werewolf gifter to the giftee, and usually encompasses family memories and abilities, but the Hammerthynns and the Jamesons possess a much more violent and vicious memory involving Simon Huntington, Leader of the notorious Tacharan Vampire clan, and he has no idea what he did.

I honestly could not finish this book. It's a genre that is very popular right now, but works against this novel. The premise is not original and borders on misogynistic. I found no real interest in either the main character or the men she was involved with - her Alpha husband and childhood friend. I would have been very disappointed to have paid for this title.
