    I could not put this book down! This was my second Bunny Mitchel story and the first one ,The Farthing mark, was excellent but I loved this one even more! Great characters, Bunny's stories always hook me in right from the start and keep me right on the edge of my seat until the end.

    I enjoyed it ,I loved the feeling of the Australia of yesteryear but I wondered why Prue was not the main character when all of the action was around her and Hannah's life seemed quite charmed.Still good though.
