Ralph Joseph-Mirani, a freelance journalist for most of his life, has authored hundreds of articles and news features for newspapers and magazines around the world, in addition to short stories and novelettes. He has traveled extensively in the Middle East and speaks several languages, including fluent Persian, along with some Arabic, Greek, French, German, and Turkish and Urdu with varying degrees of fluency. When he sighted two (perhaps three) strange craft over Iran several years ago, he kept quiet about it for fear of ridicule among his peers.
