When did you first start writing?
When I was eight, my mother entered me in this reading rainbow competition where I had to write my own children's book. I spent weeks writing this terrible story about a horse named Stardust that went on to win the local derby. And for two years I would write another one and both times I would still loose. This was extremely fustrating as it made me think I simply was not a good author, now however when I look back on it it set me up for a career as an author. Agents will regect your work but it's their opinion, that doesn't make your story terrible( most of the time).
What motivated you to become an indie author?
My age. At fifteen its near impossible to get any good literary agents to like your work because you're still a kid and they want a "professional" writer.
