Ray Perreault, author of: A LIFE WITHOUT IX was born in Biddeford, Maine and lived there with his wife Carmen and son Nicholas until 1990. They now resides in Clermont, Florida

When did you first start writing?
I started writing when I was in my teens, I would write poems and short stories. It was just a hobby for me back then and I never took it too seriously. I always enjoyed telling stories to people when they took the time to listen.
What's the story behind your latest book?
It’s a true account of how the main character, named John, grew up with a disabling illness. And where he found the courage to overcome the day to day obstacles that made him different and kept him from being like most everyone else...normal.
