I have been writing now for over six years. My first published story appeared in my college's literary magazine. To all aspiring authors out there I highly recommend you applying and submitting a story to your college's/high school's literary magazine. The joy from seeing your first published story is something that is unlike anything I can describe. Take that step, feel that passion, and never stop.

And if you ever have trouble writing, my advice is to sit down and write out the day's event. Anything to get words on the screen. Then you will see yourself moving towards writing that piece of art you have hidden up in your head.
