  • The Finding on Feb. 18, 2011

I am new to shape shifters and was introduced to Nicky Charles' Mating by accident. I loved it then read The Keeping a few weeks ago and of course jumped for joy at release of The Finding this week. I love Nicky's writing, great plot, sexy without being tacky. I enjoy reading her books and appreciate the lack of constant profanity. I give this book two thumbs up!! Keep writing and I will keep reading. Classy Work! I have been eagerly sharing the three books with my friends. Looking forward to the next book.
  • Dating A Cougar (Book 1 of the Never Too Late Series) on April 21, 2011

I really enjoyed Dating a Cougar's storyline. I agree with the authors perspective about sophisticated love/romances since I am no longer 30. I smile, laughed and "almost cried" and appreciated Ms. MCDonald's message and it is a good one. Alexa confident, self assured, smart, business minded and generous. Casey is determined, creative and OMG sexy. Since I live in Maryland I knew the visualization of the settings were easy to relate to. Keep writing and I'll keep reading. Way to Go Donna!!
  • Hometown Prophet on May 13, 2011

Mr. Fulmer has wonderful writing skills!! This book touches every emotion possible. We all wish to know what will happen next but after reading this it would be extremely stressful, seeing the good, bad and extremely ugly. Highly Recommending this to my church-going friends and family.
  • Legacy on May 20, 2011

Intellectual, suspenseful and a great page-turner.
  • The Emperor's Edge (a high fantasy mystery in an era of steam) on July 02, 2011

I give the novel five stars. I really am not a fan of steampunk but I found this book to be an adventurous, mystery/fantasy and entertaining read. I like the authors writing style which painted a vivid pictures of the settings, characters, action. I enjoyed the conversations the characters engaged in and it gave me a chuckle. Amaranthe was fantastic. Everyone loves a strong woman. Highly recommend!
  • Electronic Crime in Muted Key on July 02, 2011

Terrific, have shared this thriller with several friends and we agree it is five star all the way!!
  • Champagne, Jellybeans, and Chocolate on July 04, 2011

Previously review but forgot to include rating. Terrific and riveting read.
  • Amulet on July 24, 2011

Wow! Too bad I did not read this book in the dead of winter snow storms 'cause this puppy was sizzlin'!! I have recommended Amulet to a few friends and I can't wait to meet to discuss it. I will post my review on Amazon and Goodreads as well. I loved this book. The life lessons were meaningful, characters well developed, hot erotic scenes, just enough twist and turns embedded within the story to hold your interest outside of the erotica. Looking forward to Amulet 2!
  • Enemies and Playmates on July 28, 2011

Enemies and Playmates was appropriately named. Great characters and plot with plenty of intrigued. Ms. Helle is truly gifted as a writer. I highly recommend this book. As a matter of fact a few friends and I are meeting to discuss it.
  • The Jinx on July 28, 2011

Jinx is a read that the one must push through a first few chapters before jumping off into the spice and fast ride. It is a change of pace to start slowly and then build up to the excitement, deep and thought provoking.
  • Maid for Mayhem on July 28, 2011

The book is clever and enjoyable, a mystery with a splash of humor.
  • Bonded on Feb. 12, 2012

As always Nicky Charles delivers an exciting tale of erotic romance between shape-shifters. I love the characters and the factors regarding the characters background and the hierarchy of werewolves packs. This information adds so much to this book and the other books by Ms. Charles. The characters Brandi, Reno, Damien, Klaus were truly characters readers can love as family members. Their constant love for each other and the community reinforces that as a people we need to get over the racial nonsense and pettiness of small-minded, mean-spirited individuals and do what is right and will help our society exceed and bring about lasting joy and peace. I loved the manner in which Reno, Damien were loyal to each other regardless of what others thought or said. Their friendship allowed growth and willingness to learned from one another. The kinship of the half and the werewolves as pack members illustrates that real love is an unbreakable bond that grows in spite of the weeds of discontent that try so hard to choke it to death. Terrific work!! Thanks Ms. Charles for an enjoyable and meaningful read. I look forward to your next book.
