Born and raised in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area, Rebekah Martin (known to friends and family as 'Beks') always had an overactive imagination. To the point of distraction.
When she was nine years old, her parents took her to see "Little Women" with Winona Ryder and it was the very next day that she tried her hand at writing her first story.
Beks continued to write stories in her spare time, always jotting down ideas, but never really finishing anything. When she graduated Stephens College in 2009, she was computerless and tried writing the way her favorite author, Jane Austen, wrote-with paper and pencils. Suffice it to say, modern conveniences are wonderful.
She has recently completed the first book in the Spy Sisters Series, and is looking forward to getting books two and three completed before the year is out.
