An avid reader as a child, I found myself too busy to read much in the past few years. After dreaming night after night of a tall, slender, blonde hair girl named Gracey walking down a dirt road in Africa and the dream ending in the same place, I wrote down the dream. That night the dream progressed. Six months later, I had written a book - Emerald Eyes: The Legend of the Snow Wolves. There are 7 planned books for this series.
I am also working on a second series "The Red Wolf Chronicles". The first book of this series was published August 2013. This series is about a rogue wolf that makes a living hunting down and capturing the most heinous of criminals; rapist, serial killers, etc. His biggest competition is a female bounty hunter who ends up being a ... oops, I almost gave away the best part.
I've started a new series for release in 2014. It will be different from the other two series; Science Fiction/Futuristic/Military/Space Battles, etc. While not a romance, the two major characters will be a male and a female. He is an up and coming Captain from the slums and she is the spoiled rotten Cadet who are thrown together for much different reasons by her father, a high ranking General. The only love between the two is that they love to hate each other.
Writing has become a great distraction for me and I hope my books provide you a distraction for you as well.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Northeastern Ohio. As the oldest child, I frequently found the need to escape from reality and dive into someone else's world. I would sometimes read up to three books a day and had shelves upon shelves of used books bought with whatever money I could earn. Luckily, my mother supported my habit and would surprise me with boxes of books for special occasions. I would become so engrossed in what I was reading, I even let dinner burn a time or two, much to the dismay of my family.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing poetry when I was about 18. I've never published them as they are very personal. I have included one in Emerald Aura, book 5 of The Legend of the Snow Wolves series.
With four generations of wolves living together, the struggle for power and supremacy begins. Survival and a happy ending is no longer a given, especially with their attempts to find every wolf child created unethically. Not everyone wants to be saved; some want revenge. Some want to destroy. And they do.
Boone is a rogue wolf and bounty hunter living day to day and paycheck to paycheck. He lives for the money and the chase. It was all he has. He just wants to catch his prey, the most heinous of rapists, serial killers, etc., collect the reward and be home before the full moon. Teaming up with his biggest competition, a female bounty hunter with her own secrets, his world is turned upside down.
37 years after being adopted, Daniel isn’t capable of loving, not even his mate. His soul isn’t whole. He has learned the devil wolf he thought was his father isn’t. His whole life has been a lie. Daniel leaves Emerald Knoll to find his real father and the truth. And now someone is trying to steal his soul. Can a New Orleans witch help him find the missing half of his soul and his true soul mate?
Revenge will get you killed. But will the Emerald Knoll wolves and other wolf packs learn this lesson before more of them die? While the highly coveted 15 year old Rayne has been rescued from the evil Alpha in Colorado, there are others who see her as a potential mate. Can the Rudolphs protect her while trying to change wolf politics and still protect themselves from eradication by their enemies?
The Legend of the Snow Wolves Series Book 3. The story of the Rudolphs and the Newsomes continue with additions to the family and evil wolves still after them; especially their females. One of them is a 15 year old wolf born female who is coveted by an evil Alpha that wants her for his mate because of her alleged heritage. Can she be saved in time?
Book 2 (Revised). Follow Gracey, Stone and their extended wolf family. Who turns, who gets married, who dies and who returns from the dead? Can the Rudolphs continue to live as humans with everything changing so quickly? Can they keep their existence a secret and their family safe from those who already know the truth?
(2013 Revision) Gracey thought a trip to Africa would help her to escape her mundane life and the torture she endured daily after the death of her mother and her father going to prison for killing a man. In an attempt to find her mother’s killer, she would fall in love with her soul mate and learn the truth about herself. She was a magical and mythical being.
