Hal Tartar is a 93 year-old veteran of World War II, having served as a 2nd Lt. Platoon Leader in Europe. At 6 foot and 175 pounds, he is fit and active. He published a diet book at age 89, called The Palm Beach Lifestyle Diet. He keeps his mind active by solving Sudoku and Cryptogram puzzles. Hal was raised in Atlantic City , New Jersey, and has lived in Florida since 1971. He has a daughter, Jill Burley, who lives in Port St. Lucie, Florida , and a son Jeffrey,who lives in Margate,
New Jer sey. He has three grandchildren; Michelle , Wayne and Brian, and four great-grandchildren. He lives in West Palm Beach, Florida, with his wife, Kathleen
