Richard Reeves

Biography

Just an easygoing guy who loves to read. Can be books, short stories, or a blog. Retired Network Engineer, Instructor at a University in Florida. Now I just try to enjoy life, try to be the best I can be.. I create websites, and review books. I love first time Authors, especially when they get it right right out of the gate. I also enjoy talented Authors, doing my best to support Independent Authors. They work so hard to turn out a book for us to enjoy, then market it themselves, for little pay. I help them anyway I can.

Smashwords Interview

How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Word of mouth from friends, newsletters from Authors, browsing.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
True Grit by C. Pontis. It was a novel about U.S. Marshal Rooster Cogburn. However, as most I made the mistake of seeing the movie first. Now anytime I see the movie I feel sick about the way it was cut and edited. But, I did learn then that reading was much better than movies. Before my first serious book, I did read all the Golden Books when I was a child, along with the Dr. Seuss books.

Two guys that are them best of friends. One has to have the best, better than his buddy in every way. Married to the prettiest woman, op has a better job, has a better car. He hung out with them all the time as he really doesn't care to spend time with his wife. New Years Party, he discovers that his buddy and his wife have a new bigger house. Now anyone who reads my reviews knows I don't like to give the ending away, but it's exciting. I read this book in a few minutes, and was surprised, I don't know why because I've read her books before. I guess it's because there was so much packed into a few short pages. Ms. Agee has a excellent future in this industry, as she's just that good. The book is free and you can't as for any better than that. Give her a chance and read it.
