What do your fans mean to you?
In truth, fans to me are people who share my vision of the world I've imagined and are just as passionate as I am. They immerse themselves in alternate realities to feel what's going on with the story, and I feel it's my job to guide them through this awesome new world. I don't see them as "the people who make me money" because let's face it: I don't make any money off this. Fans exist for one sole purpose: to be entertained.
What are you working on next?
I would like to say I'm working on the sequel to Broken Sigil, but I'd be lying. I've started it, but I'm not satisfied with the narrative. I've got the worst case of writer's block right now and coupled with real-life financial struggles I haven't been able to sit down and really iron out the wrinkles in how Book 2 is going to go. I have settled into a new routine to get the juices flowing though and I'm hoping to get moving on the sequel soon. I recently got a new laptop that makes writing and editing between versions MUCH easier so we'll see!
