Smashwords Interview

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
My mother had a friend who was an editor with Woman's Own and this friend saw me writing a story about girls on the Underground train and what they were thinking. The friend said the story was good and I should send it to Woman's Own. It wasn't accepted but the editor said I had a good future in creative writing. I was about 8 years old then
My writing process begins with a character
For example the story I am working on today is a teen adventure story.
