I am still in my bathrobe, because I started reading this book and could not stop! It is an astonishingly honest and compelling story, and although Ms. Boykin combines narrative and past journal entries, the flow is cohesive and gripping. Heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time, this is a book worth far more than $1.99!

"Bi-the-way" is a collection of complexities, introspection and self-analysis translated into beautiful words. McLaren has clearly grown stronger since the desperately fragile poetry in her first book "Chronicles of a Broken Girl". Equally beautiful, this book is steadier on its feet and more directionally focused, but you're still going to be taken for a ride.
