Biography
** Remember to de-activate the adult filter to be able to view my adult novel, Lust, Love and Lies.
Hi, my name is Rosemary. My nationality is English although my parentage stems from celtic roots. My main passion is writing but I also paint, mostly in oils.
I am first and foremost a wife, mother and grandmother; previously a practical, down to earth business woman - now retired. Born dyslexic into an academically oriented family in the days before the disability was recognised, early years were not easy. But having to prove myself to myself, has stood me in good stead and toughened my character. I knew I could write - even if I couldn’t spell. My fear of reading in public led to the development of a keen memory. My inborn love of the written word helped me to overcome my disability and to eventually become a mainstream published author. I am now trying my hand at e-publishing. My writings include adult fiction, astrological books, poetry and children’s stories.
Although not as young as I used to be, I hope I still remain ‘young at heart', always able to truthfully hold my hand up to a firm belief in the magic of childhood - not the J. K. Rowling kind (although I adore the books and films), but rather the wonderment of the Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy years.
My photo is a rather old one - taken many years ago - however at heart it still represents the real me. I love children and equate to them, some might say because deep down I have never entirely grown up. To tell the truth, I hope never really do.
I am at present writing another children's story; this time for slightly older children, 10's to 15's and above. It is called Time Line and is a fantasy.
