Biography

Roy Goode.

Born Leicester England.

Left school at fifteen, worked in the family horticulture Business.
Joined the Royal Navy at aged eighteen, served two years. After the RN was employed as a clerk in the planning department of Hawker Aircraft, Squires Gate, Blackpool.
Moved to London and lived there for five years, flatting with Aussies, Kiwis, and South Africans. Met my wife Janet a New Zealander on her OE. in London.
Moved to Auckland worked as a welder, real estate agent and bookshop owner.
Married in Auckland 1962 he has two daughters and two grand daughters.
He has enjoyed several trips to the UK over the years, especially London. The author is now retired and fulfilling his passion for writing.
