If you're a Carl Hiaasen fan, you need to read Resurrection Blues! Langston's style is similar to Hiaasen's in that he is adept at creating memorable, quirky characters and clever dialog. It reads like a Hiassen novel with a bonus twist of fantasy. I found myself thinking of this amusing story during the day and couldn't wait to read the next chapter once I got home. The only reason I waited awhile to read it was I had to get an e-reader so I could read it in bed!

Josh Langston's stories are both humorous and touching. You will see both qualities in these short stories, which are perfect for reading on the plane or in the car en route to holiday festivities. I have read all of his books and I'm hungry for more!

I love how the author's voice shines through in these stories. Such unique ideas and language ("troll squeeze"?) that either make me think or chuckle, or both. A treat!
