Ryan Humphreys


Biography

Ryan Humphreys grew up in Vancouver Canada. At the age of 23 he moved to London and traveled Europe. Later he lived in Asia and Latin America. He met Bono in a crowded club in London, was nearly arrested for chasing a cougar with a hockey stick and can't draw arms on people so often doesn't draw them at all. While living in Thailand, he published travel articles and wrote Bangkok Exit a biographical account of his time teaching and traveling in Thailand. Most recently he spent two years teaching in Guatemala. At the moment, he is back home in Vancouver where he teaches Spanish part time, writes because he can’t help it and dreams of returning to Asia. His new book titled, The Flirtations of Dan Harris, is a fictional account of a traveler`s search for his identity set in Thailand.
