Steven Partridge

Biography

Steven Partridge is a twenty-something author from northern Indiana. His writing style is much like his fashion style, taking what he likes from all sorts of different places and mashing it all together into something totally weird that usually works... for the most part. When he's not writing, he can usually be found playing tabletop games with friends, spending time with his beautiful wife, or trying to find inspiration for his next chapter.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in northern Indiana. So yes, I refer to most groups as "you guys" / "those guys" / etc. I also like to draw from the sensations (especially smell) of the local flora that can be found around - mmmm, maple and pine!
When did you first start writing?
I first started writing in second grade, with a story about a family of flees who lived on a dog and saved its life. In retrospect, that's kind of a grim plot. Not knowing the relationship of fleas to dogs, I didn't think the reason they needed to ensure the dog stayed alive was so they could slowly suck its life away and potentially spread disease to it, not to mention the itching! Er, what was the question?
