Sarah originally trained as a nurse in Sheffield, before spending 20 years in pharmaceutical sales - specialising in mental health. She has now been writing fiction for around 8 years, with over 140 short stories published to date, in national magazines such as Woman's Weekly, My Weekly and Take a Break, plus various newspapers, like The Sunday Telegraph and The Weekly News. Overseas publications include That's Life and Woman's day in Australia, and You in South Africa. She has also had a 3 part murder-mystery serial published by Woman's Weekly (March 2013), and has several anthology inclusions, notably with Bridge House Publishers, and most recently Alfie Dog, with whom she has several light comedies and spoof fairy stories. With a preference for comedy and horror, she hopes her humorous novel, Expected, will soon be published, and is currently working on a supernatural thriller. Writing fiction, to entertain and amuse, is all she has ever wanted to do, and she hopes to continue long into her dotage. Sarah lives in Dorset with her husband, Don, and spaniel, Harry.
