  • The Encounter on Feb. 28, 2012

Hello Tom. Glenn here. I really liked this story. Well written and suspenseful with a surprising ending. I sure hope he finds her again sometime. By the way, this would make a great novel!
  • A Night Meeting on Feb. 28, 2012

Hi Tom. Glenn here. This was the strangest story I’ve read in a long time… I loved it! So different than what one would expect from a creature of the night. Great story and I recommend it to anyone who has not yet read it!
  • The Encounter on March 04, 2012

Hi Tom. This is Sasha. Tom... your story is breathtaking in its quick involvement of the reader. So well done!! I was with the man in the store every moment and I felt his anxiety as though it were my own. No question... you have a great storytelling ability! Thanks for a great read!! Love it.
  • A Night Meeting on March 04, 2012

Hi Tom. This is Sasha. Tom... it's very rare that you find a writer who can deftly merge subtle humor and whimsy with grab-your-soul fear. You did it. And you did it expertly. So, instead of feeling that tried-and-true fear about vampires and their blood-lust... you created a character that could be a friend and watch a movie with (just make sure you have plenty of popcorn available in case he gets hungry...). He became for me a real, though dead/un-dead person. Stop reading this, Tom, and write more!! I want more!! Love it.
  • All That Glitters on March 05, 2012

Stacey, Glenn here. I love this story. Made you wonder who Ivy was and what was going on. I loved the ending! Sounds like a great gal.
  • Yard Sale! on March 05, 2012

Hi Stacey, Glenn here. This is a great short story which I really enjoyed. My wife Sasha had read it and reviewed, but I just now found it. Can't wait to read your others. Can't understand the lower four star reviews! Five all the way!
  • Stella Monday - Girl In Motion on March 05, 2012

Stacey, Glenn here. Another great story. I'm glad I finally got around to reading your work. Outstanding! Looking for more.
  • Cherry Cheesecake on March 05, 2012

Stacey, Glenn here. Wow! This one really got to me. Very touching. "Mr. Sweeney has lived the life that he wanted. He is rich." Wonderful line, and I found myself with tears in my eyes, but smiling with a nod. Wow!
  • A Night for Questions and Answers on March 14, 2012

Tom, Glenn here. Your work is remarkable! I love how you reintroduce Chuck, the vampire in this story. The discussion over morals, between a vampire that may kill you to drink your blood, thereby turning you into a vampire also... Wow! I could feel the tension between Rodger and the vampire, not knowing when or if the vampire would strike, not knowing whether to run for your life or what! And then…
  • A Night for Questions and Answers on March 14, 2012

Absolutely one of the most interesting characters I've read in a long time. Thanks so much for bringing Chuck back - but I want more!!! Nice writing and great pacing. And the continuous tension while having a heart-to-heart discussion is superb. Just beautifully done. A great story teller. Sasha
  • Night School on June 25, 2012

Hi Tom, Glenn here. Well, once again you've written a winner! Sasha and I love this vampire series. So unusual to find a vampire who isn't happy being who he is, and how he has become friends with Rodger, who could just as easily have been his victim. The interaction between Chuck the vampire and Rodger, his, uh, friend… really keeps your interest. Your mix of emotions, including humor, keeps me returning to your authors page, to see if the next book in the series is ready yet. Great job, and I highly recommend these stories. Your first book with Chuck and Rodger, "A Night Meeting," was really good. The second in the series, "A Night for Questions and Answers," got me hooked on the series and left me wanting more. This, the newest in the series, brings up a lot more questions on what will happen to Chuck, as he tries to figure out just where he fits in as a vampire, and whether he will have to fight other vampires to survive being an outsider. Well done!
  • Looking Back on July 18, 2012

Hi Marcia, Glenn here. This short story is very well written. The story takes you on the journey of Anne Smith, from her youth, growing up with her family, to the birth of her daughter, to watching her daughter grow up, marry, and start a family of her own. For many of us readers, this in many ways reminds us of our own journey through life, and watching our children grow up, marry, move away, and begin their own family and life together with the one they love. If you have not read this story, please do, you'll be thankful you did. Thank you Marcia, for bringing a smile to my face, as I think back over my own journey through life.
