Scott Todd

Biography

This is Scott Todd's first extended literary work, compiled and written on and off between January, 2013 and December, 2014. MC:TLSC started as a short story experiment. And people who read the first rough drafts kept wanting more, so it inspired him to expand and finish it as a book.

Although it is his first book, he has been a creative kind of person most of his life. He has enjoyed being a musician, audio engineer, and songwriter some professionally, and some as a hobbyist. He wrote and recorded the instrumental rock/fusion CD "Using The Invisible," which was completed in 1993, and is still available in MP3's or Compact Disc on CDBaby.

His travels took him at an early age to both the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. In addition he has lived in Florida, Tennessee and currently resides in Western North Carolina. Scott graduated Asheville High School with a diploma in 1983.

Smashwords Interview

What inspired you to write Mega Cataclysm: The Last Survivors Chronicles?
This book was inspired by a report I came across of an actual, real life discovery by a scientist. For more information, I have included a link in the Epilogue!
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I can't really say that the myriad of places I have lived has had much influence at all in my writing of MC:TLSC. It is merely a product of my imagination, derived and inspired by a scientific discovery.
