Linear in presentation, no jumping from one group of people to another set in another galaxy. The progression is in one local. Definitely a good read with enough action to keep one's attention.

I purchased the boxed set containing the first four books. Such excellent reading that I purchased two different books. I would recommend these books but, as with all authors, someone will always have a different opinion.
