Larry Brooks
Biography
Larry Brooks is a bestselling author and frequent writing teacher at conferences internationally. His website, www.storyfix.com, was named to Writers Digest "101 Best Writing Websites of 2011," and was voted by readers as the #1 writing site on the internet.
His #1 bestselling writing book, "Story Engineering: Mastering the Six Core Competencies of Successful Writing," is an standard in the writing community. As are his other two writing books, "Story Fix: Harnessing the Underlying Forces of Storytelling" and "Story Fix: Transform Your Novel from Broken to Brilliant. All three are published by Writers Digest Books.
His non-fiction project, "Chasing Bliss," has been in development for 12 years. His work as a novelist focusing on what he calls "relationship thrillers" led him to this platform, which is informed by his own background -- for better or worse -- navigating and adapting to the challenging landscape of primary relationships. He credits his wife for the learning he takes away from this journey, which he passes along in this book.
He has published six critically acclaimed novels, including the USA Today bestseller "Darkness Bound" and "Bait and Switch."
