Samantha Tidy, is an established Australian author, of illustrated children's books, and both adult and young adult fiction. She has been nominated for several awards, including Runner Up in the TAG Hungerford Award in 2000, for the novel Cappuccino Diva. Her forthcoming novel was shortlisted for the National Fellowship of Australian Writers Jim Hamilton Award for an unpublished manuscript. Her children's books have also won an international award for promoting mental health.
