Susan Bien's first career was as an international investment banker, during which she traveled the world. In her second career as an author, Ms. Bien has been accepted to the prestigious Squaw Valley Community of Writers Conference and won the Unpublished Novel Award from the San Diego Book Awards.
Fall To Grace, Bien's debut novel, was inspired by an encounter with a former investment-banking colleague who told her he was going to make one hundred million by the time he was forty and he would do whatever he needed to do to get there.
Ms. Bien is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, is married, and has two children.
