I love Ruth Ann Nordin style of writing. This story left so many unanswered questions. It was rushed. I think that is the word I'm looking for. I want more of this story. I think if this book was a full novel it would captivate me as Ruth has always done.

What a great book!! This was indeed a page turner where I had to find out the next thing that was going to happen. At first I thought that this was Bill's story but it turned out to be Brenna's. The jist of this storyline is in order to live your life to the fullest you have to face your demons and the understand the reason you tend to hold on to them like a life line. Again I will say, what a great story.

Witches, demons, elves oh my. This book had some moments where I couldn't put it down because I wanted to get to the heart of the story. But there was also parts that I wish was developed more because it left me wanting. Overall, a good read. Beth was my least favorite character even though she was the main charater. She just rubbed me the wrong way, I wanted her to get her self together but she just fell short. The love triangle between her, Sasha and Malachi gave me a headache. I wanted her to stop playing with both of those men and pick. She was playing with my emotion. The end was that an end. It does set you up for the next story in the series that I hope answers the many questions I have. A worthy read.
