URGENT NOTICE TO ANYONE WHO BOUGHT BEGUILED BETWEEN 1 TO 12 SEPTEMBER 2014
I’ve just discovered that somehow when I uploaded what was supposed to be the final version I’d managed to replace chapter 13 with chapter 15! So anyone buying Beguiled between around 1 and 12 of September will have a messed up version.
To those lovely people who bought a copy over this time period I offer my unreserved apologies. If that’s you, please check your copy. If chapter 13 starts with the words: “Thump, thump, thump” you’ve got the messed up version. I’m so sorry. Maybe just return it and get a replacement because if you read it as is it won’t make any sense and chapter 13 is really good (imho lol) and I wouldn’t want you to miss it.
Hanging my head in shame at my ineptitude! I have uploaded the amended version which is now available.
Thanks again to everyone who's bought a copy of Beguiled. I really appreciate it. When you've read it, if you like it, please rate and/or review - us newbie indie authors need all the help we can get! :)
Back to my profile...
I've been writing for years now, mainly plays and poetry. I've won competitions and had a short comedy performed at The Bush Theatre in London and my poetry has been published in several anthologies.
Like many people I've started several novels and never finished them. Then I discovered erotic romance and, loving the genre, realised this is what I want to write.
I had an absolute blast writing, Beguiled and hope you enjoy it. I realise the colloquial dialogue and British idioms may be new to some readers, but Mia is English as am I and she speaks with a definite English voice - I couldn't have written my feisty, well-educated, well-read heroine any other way. Maybe I should have included a glossary! LOL
