The cure involves Max facing his worst fears and coming out a very different animal than when he went in.

Dr. Terry Rich Hartley is a former research psychologist and professor, and with this story, has returned to his first love of writing, fiction. In the 1980s he published several science fiction stories, then entered journalism, where he won three first-place awards in New York state before chasing his doctorate.
