The Serpentine Garden Path was a joy to read. I took it with me on a trip to Europe and it was a perfect companion: well-defined characters that I quickly came to care about; great descriptions; a plot that kept me interested and eager to know what lay around the bend; a well-researched historical context from which I learned many new things. This book kept me thoroughly engaged and entertained. Now I am eager to accomppany Susan and John Dean as they embark on the next phase of their story together. I know that it will be an adventure worth following.
