Amy Leger is an Emmy Award winning television news producer, who now focuses on celiac and gluten-free related news. Amy is the Family Editor for Gluten Free Living Magazine and founded The Savvy Celiac, a website dedicated to empowering and educating people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities. Amy has a long history of celiac in her family dating back 4 generations, including her own daughter (diagnosed in 2000 at 15 months old) and her brother.

Combining her journalistic background in research, desire for awareness about celiac disease, and gluten-free life experiences with her family, Amy has turned this passion into action with her writing and speaking engagements.
