  • Mop Jockeys and Fighter Pilots on July 20, 2011

A well written story that took me into the war that Captain Batista fought in her small space craft. I felt her worry and dispair at losing more of her wingmen after each attack. And, yes, I cried at the end, because there is hope even in the dispair of war.

I was there, breathing the air, watching the vines, as the first-person point of view character related the wonder of the strange city and alien vines. A very good read.
