Devane's Reality - A Short Story
on July 05, 2012
This was the first piece I read by Diamond. I decided to give it a try because he seems to like a lot of the same authors I do (found him on Goodreads), and this looked interesting. And I enjoyed it, thought he captured the mental decline of Devane really well. Oh, and his naming of Devane was quite clever too.

This was the second piece I read by Diamond. I didn't like it quite as much as "Devane's Reality," which I really loved, but I thought it was still good. I'd like to get to know Pablo better. Entertaining read.

Fantastic! I just loved this one. It's the 3rd piece I've read of Diamond's, and I'm now officially a fan. He released a novel too, called "Forgive Me, Alex," so I had to make that next on my reading list now that I've truly enjoyed 3 of his short stories.
Diamond's talent for getting us inside the heads of his characters is as strong as any author I've read. He's just plain great at it. And poor Ted, in this story, has an interesting head, to be sure.
