This is a true, almost unbelievable story, of how our Maine family, over a 7-year period and on a shoestring budget, with sweat, tenacity, and what we conceded as Divine Intervention, managed to build a beautiful and seaworthy 40-foot sailboat. Then, a couple of years later, sell most everything we owned, enroll our 2 sons in correspondence school, and sail away for a 2-year adventure.
