Why did you choose to write a book and title it “My Path to Justice”?
The answer to that question lies in the faces of everyday people you meet on the road. They all have stories but are too busy, weary or uninterested in telling them. I decided to form a story around real issues. We are products of choices we make or choices made on our behalf.
Choice is an attractive word but can also be a dangerous trap. We either choose to do the right thing and live with a clear conscience or the wrong thing and face the consequences when we least expect.
I believe victims of wrong choices have the opportunity to free themselves from the traps they find themselves if only they seek help from the right sources. They don’t have to die in silence, there are people trained and assigned to help them if only they come out of that hole.
My message in this book is about hope, about being informed and about friendship.
What spurred your interest to become a writer?
I guess its the thrill you get from being able to imagine characters and the power to influence their actions and decide who becomes the hero or villain.
