Smashwords book reviews by Turja

  • Reckless Nights in Rome on Oct. 23, 2012

Ah, a very nice book indeed! It's amazing love can change a man... And what lengths can be crossed! :)
  • Scamp's Lady on Nov. 07, 2012

Ah, a truly excellant book. The book was put quite well. It had many facts, and it was a nice read.
  • Susanna and the Spy on Nov. 22, 2012

A very nice read. It keeps you guessing till the end. Although some parts were too descriptive and a little boring, it still is quite creative! Nice job!
  • The Last Bride in Ballymuir on Dec. 07, 2012

The reviews were so good I had to take a look, although the blurb didn't sound so interesting. But apparently this book failed to interest me at all. I don't like the writing style. And there's nothing that 'holds' me, but I suppose the writer's good. Her choice of words is powerful.
  • Wild Justice on Dec. 25, 2012

A very nice book! It was a great time-pass! Though, some parts were boring... But good books always have little boring parts! :)
  • Don't Call Me Baby on March 02, 2015

Honestly, I have no idea why the reviews are so good. Yes, the plot is well designed but it was not as well written as a 5 star rating should be. I've read many suspense books and this is not nearly as exquisite as those. This is fun to read and has the air of mystery but nothing that makes you want to read on and on. I expected better seeing the reviews but oh well. And there were many religions which just got annoying. Like "million and one times". But good, nonetheless. Regards, Turja.
  • Alessandra (#1, Omega Beginnings Miniseries) on March 04, 2015

Hey now, this is a Lizzy grade book! So there is no way this can be any less than 5 stars. Lizzy defines 5 stars and well! This is definitely awesome! I am so curious to see what happens next and I am sure hooked. I love how she portrays the little child. It is exquisite. Turja.
  • Mismatch (#2, Omega Beginnings Miniseries) on March 04, 2015

A great sequel to Alessandra! And as I said. I am hooked and I definitely WILL read on. None can stop me. *^* Turja.
  • The Execution on March 29, 2015

I agree with the review of S.J. It definitely needs and deserves much more than 5 stars! I don't think I have ever come across a book which was so well written! The writing presented a clear view, the words were exquisitely vivid. This in itself, is good enough to earn full points. But the plot? Nothing short of amazing can describe such a beautiful novel. The writing is touching. I found myself taking breaks to get rid of the enchanting spells it had on me. I read and then took occasional breaks. It overwhelmed me. I believe the author deserves more recognition and this is pure talent. Wonderful! Sincerely, Your New Fan, Turja.
  • Theodocia (#5, Omega Beginnings Miniseries) on June 19, 2015

Theodocia is a nice character, even though she is the most human among the characters of Omega Beginnings. Her genuine personality is rarely observed. Her suffering saddens me. But it is one step closer to Omega! The wait is so making me crazy! After I read the sneak peak in Lantos, I feel even more impatient! ~Turja
  • Niko (#6, Omega Beginnings Miniseries) on June 19, 2015

Niko is a type of person I cannot help but absolutely love! He's got the brooding looks and the violent streak. Ah, just great. His story is very intriguing and it gets better when you read the sneak peak! I read that before I read this book so I was excited to get to know this character. Man, he seems wow. And yet again, it takes us one step closer to our super-awaited, craving-to-read book, Omega!
