J. D. Carter

Biography

J. D has been interested in horror his entire life. Coming from a strictly religious background, he has experienced the demons that many people hide from the outside world.

He chose to start writing as an outlet for his emotions and experiences. It wasn't until he read "Pet Semetary" By Stephen King that he decided he wanted to make a career out of writing.

Writing is the only thing he has ever stuck with and been truly passionate about. He has written short stories, flash fiction, and even online articles. "The Shadows Within" is his first horror novel.

This story drew me in from the beginning. I really felt like I WAS the MC. A phenomenal story of love and betrayal in which you won't see the end coming. Definitely 99 of the best pennies you will ever spend!

Few stories make my jaw drop but this one did. I am not much for vampire stories because I think a lot of them are overdone but this grabbed my attention from the beginning and didn't let go until the ride was over. I loved the chase between these two characters and the end result was more than satisfying. I look forward to more work by Mr. Luffman.
