I've been writing fiction for eight years. I started writing novels, but the good instructors at the local college convinced me short stories were where it's at. I've had twelve short stories published. I have written seven novels. My fiction magazine is Untied Shoelaces of the Mind.
I build multiplayer online wargames, namely Legions of Tercia and Alien Battlegrounds.
Honestly, I didn't make it past the first chapter. I encountered 4 errors in the first few pages, and I just couldn't go on. Most of them were a missing commas, but one was a unnecessary word. I had and... I suggest the author proofread it again.
I know some writers will say, "I leave those commas out as a stylistic choice." Well, I find enough errors in my own books, I don't want to read a book that has commas left out.
William and I do not write in the same style, and sometimes it is nice to read things that are a different style from your own.
I only read the one-way-ticket part, I did not read the other content, but I found it reasonably well written and enjoyable. And to a significant degree horrific as an idea.
