‘Wisdom Of A Thousand Fools’ is Valerie Parks second book of poetry. Her first book of poetry ‘Pathways’ was launched in early 2011 and has received great reviews.
‘Wisdom Of A Thousand Fools’ touches on passion, loss, temptations, self, pride, guilt, desperation, inspiration, obsession, artifice, disappointment, illusions and contentment. She handles all these human conditions and emotions with empathy, compassion but still calls a spade a spade when it’s warranted.
Valerie has been writing since she was fifteen years old and it’s been in her blood ever since she can remember. Her style is realistic with tender emotions laced throughout. She touches on the disappointments and the lost opportunities we all experience somewhere along our journey through life. She speaks loudly in a quiet voice and walks softly carrying a big stick.
