Vaughn Entwistle

Biography

Vaughn Entwistle is a British author who grew up in Northern England. After the family moved to the United States, he attended Oakland University in Michigan where he earned a Master’s Degree in English.

In the early nineties he moved to Seattle to work as a writer/editor. In his spare time he ran a successful gargoyle-sculpting company for ten years (yes, really!) Entwistle has published poetry and fiction in a number of small literary journals and won awards for screenplays and novels.

His novel ANGEL OF HIGHGATE garnered outstanding reviews from the Historical Novel Society and Kirkus Reviews.

Entwistle recently moved back to the UK and currently lives with his wife, two cats and a Brittany in a rural area of Somerset, England, an area of outstanding natural beauty that is steeped in history. Here he shops for groceries at the weekly market in the medieval cathedral town of Wells, and takes the dog for daily walks in the Mendip Hills, an area rich in Roman forts and bronze age settlements, iron-age burial mounds, and caves dating back to Paleolithic era. Needless to say, it is a wonderful place to live for a writer seeking inspiration for his books.

Representation: Entwistle is represented by literary agent Kimberley Cameron of Kimberly Cameron and Associates. The movie rights to his novels are represented by Cine/Lit Representation.

His most recent novel, THE REVENANT OF THRAXTON HALL, BOOK THE PARANORMAL CASEBOOKS OF SIR ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE, is scheduled to be published by Minotaur on March, 25th, 2014.
