Victor Luba

Biography

I am an avid reader of e-Books. Specially free e-Books. I read a lot of e-Books, specially from Smashwords, but post reviews of only those e-Books that move me enough to post a review whether for good or bad. I never hesitate to call crap, crap because I am not the kind of guy who is afraid to hurt someone's feelings. Similarly, I never hesitate to call good read, a good read if I enjoy an e-Book.

In my opinion social media is a waste of time. Therefore, I do not do Facebook, Twitter and Google+ etc but if someone want to contact me they can do so at victorluba1111@gm*il.com. However, their is no guarantee that I will get back at that someone.

Smashwords book reviews by Victor Luba

  • Fun Size #1 Looking For Fun on March 09, 2013

Good story to burn a few boring hours.
  • S T O L E N - Suspense Short Story on Feb. 27, 2014

The beginning and the middle of the story was fine but the ending was very disappointing. It was like you are taking a jet ride and then the jet makes a crash landing and then you are forced to take a passenger train to “Boring Ville”.
  • Craw on Aug. 08, 2015

The worst, most stupid and boring type of poetry I have ever read. Do world a favor, and unpublish this insult in the name of poetry.
  • Malevolent Shadows on Aug. 08, 2015

The author gets only one star for putting the book in the wrong category. My advice to the author get a dictionary and understand the meaning of "Thriller and Suspense".
  • Human Intelligence on Aug. 08, 2015

This one kept me turning the pages. A must read for anyone who loves thriller and suspense genre.
  • Lost Innocence: The Accused. Part One on Aug. 08, 2015

A good read set in the other part of the world. This book is not one of those books set west and that's a good thing.
  • Listening on Aug. 26, 2015

    Boring.
  • Z-Day Series: Book 1 First Burnz on Aug. 26, 2015

    Cliche.
  • 1492 and All That: A Fool's History of the USA on Aug. 26, 2015

    Keep up the good work.
  • The Liberator - Part 1 on Aug. 26, 2015

    Hokum.
  • Ruck Nor 2 on Aug. 26, 2015

Seems to a spin off of the movie PREDATORS.
  • The Staring Stranger on Sep. 12, 2015

A stare game between the two strangers on the train of boredom which is bound for the station of stupid end: did not amuse me at all. Save ten minutes of your life by ignoring this e-Book.
  • Canis Lupus on Sep. 12, 2015

Thoroughly enjoyed this e-Book. The idea of personification of the wolves is a good idea and the author certainly has the talent to tell a good story since his words made me care for the predatory wolves. However, I found the end a bit unsatisfactory as villains were not brought to justice. I also feel that this book is in the wrong category. Instead of being in "Thriller & Suspense" category, this book should be in "Action & Adventure" category.
