"Butler Did It" has a guy and a girl, good guys, bad guys, a cool sidekick and a dog. Add action and adventure, spiced with gunrunners, an ancient artifact, and a hereditary king and you have the ingredients for a good story. The Pomeroys pull it off. Paraphrasing Mark Twain I noticed instances of the author using five dollar words when twenty-five cent ones would have sufficed. "Butler Did It" seems like a first or early novel for Keith and Sally Pomeroy. I hope there is a new Mathew Butler adventure in the works.
