  • Glamour (Rae Wilder #1) on Feb. 18, 2011

This was one of the first e-books that I read on my kindle, and I am looking forward to reading many more from this author. Good storyline and characters, a really enjoyable read.
  • The Good Die Twice on Feb. 25, 2011

I read this immediately after reading Sara Morningsky, and I was not disappointed. Very well written, characters that draw you in and a story that grabs your attention and keeps it.
  • When the Dead Speak on Feb. 25, 2011

I enjoyed this book, I liked the characters in it and look forward to reading more about them in the future. The plot is good but I don't want to go into detail and spoil it for anyone that hasn't read it yet.
  • To be Loved on Feb. 26, 2011

A fun read with a nice twist.
  • Tears for Hesh (short story) on Feb. 26, 2011

A great short story, but hard to review without giving away too much.
  • Thinker on April 21, 2011

This could be a good story if the author could stay on topic. The general idea here is interesting, but there are a lot of distractions from the plot.Example - "Linda blushed at the sight of Jack she was clearly on the hunt for a relationship, and she would gladly settle for Jack". I could find no basis for this sentence, and it leads to nothing. There are a few other throw away lines like this that have no seeming connection to the plot and do nothing to enhance the story.I hope that other people with more experience of giving constructive criticism will read this story and comment as I feel that I may not have been of much help to the author, and as his idea is a good one and the story is free I think he deserves the help so we can all benefit from his future publications.
  • Blindsight:: A Mirus Short Story on May 14, 2011

Ms Nolan packs quite a lot into short story and tells it well, but I felt that a couple of things were left hanging at the end. I immediately went to check if her other books are about Ransom or Isla so I could find out more. Sadly I could see no mention of either, but I am tempted to buy both books anyway as this short story was such a good appetizer for the series.
  • The Bellhound - Four Tales of Modern Magic on Sep. 26, 2011

Excellent stories, I would love a Bellhound of my own.
  • Arcane Solutions (Discord Jones 1) on Feb. 19, 2012

One of the best books I have read recently, full of interesting and original characters. Discord is a real "kickass" heroine who is still learning about her powers, heaven help the opposition when they are fully developed. There is not one boring character in this novel, and I can't wait for the next book in the series.
