Will A.G Martel

Biography

Will has been an actor in theater and television since the age of 17. He got his start in the role of 60s singer Sam Cooke (1988). A year later he appeared as a gangster in the film Bix Beiderbecke (1989). He was also cast as an extra in the horror film "Candyman," (1990) and the Wayans brothers comedy "Mo' Money." (1991)

​By the age of 20, He worked as a stuntman on different Independent films. His first stunt job was for a boxing movie in which he doubled for one of the supporting actors, that film was "Gladiator," (1991) starring James Marshall of the 90s drama "Twin Peaks," and Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr. When film work stopped coming to Chicago, Will continued to act in theater and started training as a pro wrestler.

Will had grown up in the business and dreamt of becoming a wrestling champion. On May 8, 2004 his dream became a reality being crowned Evolution Championship Pro Wrestling World Champion. Later that same year he was cast in the action film The Raid. As Will continued to wrestle under the character of "The Feature Presentation," he worked as an extra in films and television also becoming a print model for a number of companies. By 2005 he was cast on the Fox TV show Prison Break.

In the episode "My Brothers Keeper" Will played a spectator to a teen being hit by a car, rushing to his aid. Will's credits include "The Dark Knight," (2007) "The Vision," (2008) "Disaster Relief," (2008) "Red in Dreadville," (2008) which he acted as assistant director, stunt coordinator, and fight choreographer. Will made a comeback to the world of theater in 2008 after a 13 year hiatus being cast as one of the leads in Noah Haidle's "Rag and Bone" produced by The Rubicon Theater Project.



In his three decade odyssey the journey has lead him to his first book Surviving The Game, a television pilot, and a full length motion picture. Will freely shares his experiences that he hopes will inspire, motivate, educate, and encourage others to set goals and pursue their own dreams. Will created "Team Change The Game" to convey team building skills to those that seek success in life.



Will's philosophy is "Without a great team, success takes a lot longer to obtain. Whether your team members are business associates or family. Having a strong team wins the game." He aspires to share his knowledge of the professional wrestling business, creating the first ever sports entertainment seminar called "The Business Of Sports Entertainment," which aims at building, educating, and informing journeyman performers on how to improve their brand that will possibly increase their chances and opportunities of performing in World Wrestling Entertainment or it's rival Total Nonstop Action. Through this Will hopes to also usher in the next generation of sports entertainers. Will is currently working on his 2nd book "Beyond The Curtain" Life as a journeyman sports entertainer, due out later in 2014. Will has wrote Surviving The Game to raise awareness of the pros and cons of online dating with the possible dangers to those searching for love on the internet highway.
