Great character, description and suspense. Skerry skillfully introduces a scenario rich with implications, and a heroine who champions the underdogs -- even when they mysteriously scorn her assistance. As the every-woman super warrior trying to do the right thing in a complicated world, Imuri Bane must figure out which injustice to right first ... a paradigm very apt for our modern world.
