Hello and thanks for stopping by. I was born in the old Soviet Union in Volgograd (previously Stalingrad). In 2002 I came to the United States and am currently living in the Portland, Oregon area.
In my career I have been a engineer, journalist, and photographer. My photos have been shown in Volgograd galleries.
I have published on Smashwords a journal of Russian haiku and pictures (with English translations). Currently I am a backyard beekeeper and helping out the Russian Foundation for the Arts in Portland (RUFFA). Mainly, we have been bringing in what are called "bards".
Osenizmy is a book of haiku and pictures by the Russian photographer Yulia Goldberg. It contains both Russian originals and their English translations.
Osenizmy is a mythical land of the near and dear that we all experience, but now given vision and sound. Yulia explores her local life in Oregon to learn and articulate the nature of all of our Osenizmys.
