  • Walk Through Fire - A Blood and Tears Prequel Novella on Aug. 02, 2012

Review of “ Walk Through Fire” Author Joshua P. Simon If you’re looking for a thrill ride “Walk Through Fire” could be the answer to your prayers. Author Joshua Simon throws us into a post cataclysmic world where all traces of humanity have been erased and replaced with endless wars for power and land. From our first glimpse of the streets of Mudhole Bay, Simon grabs you and drags you through a world of assassins, traitors and sorcerers where friendship and loyalty is bought and trust is often paid for in blood. This is one ride you can’t get off until the end. Don’t take my word for it get a copy of “Walk Through Fire” and hang on tight. Review by Dave Stewart
  • The One Who Got Away on June 01, 2013

Review of “The One Who Got Away” By Amy Gamet. The “The One Who Got Away” by Amy Gamet is a thriller/romance story. The plot revolves around Gwen Trueblood, her late husband David Beaumont, his past friend Colin Mitchel and the just revealed fact that David who was thought to have been killed in a skiing accident was in fact murdered. Another fact revealed was that as a child David was placed in the Federal Wittiness Protection program along with his parents. Colin who is now a US Marshal in the witness protection program and Gwen rekindle a romance that was cut short when she married David. Colin and Gwen work in harness discovering both clues while rekindling a long latent attraction. By the end of the story they are able to resolve the mystery of her late husband’s death and commit to a new life together as husband and wife. I found the book to be an easy and enjoyable read. A bit more character development and a little less superfluous descriptions of apparel would help to move the story along. The author might want to start the story when Hank brings Gwen the news that her late husband David had been under the witness protection program. This will get the reader right into the meat of the plot. Dave S
