Doug Setter


Biography

Doug grew up in Surrey, B.C. He was barely accepted into the military at 120 pounds. Doug served as a Morse code operator and later as a radio operator and paratrooper. He served with the U.N. Protection Force in Croatia in 1993 and earned a Bachelor of Human Ecology. Doug has run five complete marathons, climbed Mt. Rainier and won a welter weight kick-boxing championship. He trains clients in Pilates, Stomach Flattening and Kick-Boxing. Doug's articles have appeared in newspapers and magazines, including Chicken Soup for the Canadian Soul. He has been a guest on CKNW and CBC radio. He is the author of Stomach Flattening, Reduce Your Alcohol Craving and Selo.
