A. J. MARRIOT
“A.J” (as he likes to be known) turned professional Comedian in 1975, and for 15 years toured the length and breadth of Britain; played Residencies in Jersey, the Isle of Man, and the Isle of Wight; cruised in American waters; and worked in Canada, Alaska, Spain, Tenerife, Lanzarotte, Ibiza, and Corfu.
In 1987 he turned his pen hand to writing comedy for television, and has writing credits for:
Cue Gary (Wilmot); Five Alive; Live from the Palladium; Live from Her Majesty’s; 3-2-1;
Summertime Special; The Russ Abbot Show; and 3 series of The Brian Conley Show.
In 1993, he began writing rather bigger works, and has since self-published four large illustrated biographies:
